Pietro Savorana earned his LL.M from the University of Milan after defending his dissertation on criminal law entitled “Environmental disasters: developments in case law and scope for reforming”. Supervisor: Prof. Gian Luigi Gatta.
He has been working with the firm since April 2015 and he is a member of the Milan Bar Association. Pietro Savorana has been licenced to practice law since 2018.
Over the past few years, Pietro Savorana has acquired significant experience in criminal law of economics, criminal tax law, bankruptcy law and crimes against the public administration. Additionally, he has been involved extensively in driving crimes and stalking cases. He has also provided out-of-court legal advice in the prevention of work-related injuries.
Together with Stefano Lalomia, Pietro Savorana has helped to prepare the Altalex bar examination as well as draft numerous commentaries and sentences for the Quotidiano Giuridico journal. He has also provided his support with regard to the 2015 tax crime reform conferences, the 2016 decriminalization decrees, criminal liability of court-appointed guardians vis-à-vis trust funds.
Since February 2019 Pietro Savorana has been participating in the two-year programme run by the Milan Criminal Bar Association in professional ethics and best practice for lawyers qualifying to become court-appointed defence lawyers.
