Mr. Baccaredda Boy, a member of the Supreme Court Bar admitted to practice before the Italian Court of Cassation, has been practicing law for over forty years. He is the founder of Baccaredda Boy Law Firm, based in Milan at its Viale Bianca Maria 25 since 2004, which employs a successful team of highly skilled professionals.
Mr. Baccaredda Boy specializes in corporate law and has gained extensive experience in tax law and insurance fraud through his ongoing work with a leading insurance company. In addition, he has developed specialist expertise in the criminal law aspects of urban planning, medical liability, information technology, and telecommunications, having served for years as a consultant to a major telecommunications company.
Throughout his career, Mr. Baccaredda Boy has acted as defence counsel in a number of high-profile criminal proceedings. These include corporate cases involving Banco Ambrosiano, Sasea–De Angeli Frua, Parmalat, Unipol/BNL, UBI Banca, and Banca Etruria. In the telecommunications sector, he represented civil claimants in the “Telecom case.”
Mr. Baccaredda Boy has also acted as counsel in proceedings concerning environmental pollution, water contamination, site remediation, and occupational diseases, including the Porto Marghera petrochemical plant trial. He is also currently involved in the Ilva steel plant case in Taranto.
He has participated in the Linate air disaster trial and in judicial proceedings concerning the collapse of the Morandi Bridge in Genoa and, more recently, the Torre dei Moro fire and the collapse of the Generali tower rooftop sign in Milan.
Mr. Baccaredda Boy also has specific expertise in corporate administrative liability, both in litigation and advisory work, including drafting and revising organizational models and service on supervisory bodies.
Furthermore, he is actively engaged in academic and training activities. He has been a speaker at numerous conferences, particularly on criminal liability in labour law, environmental law, corporate law as well as medical liability. For many years, he served on the advisory board of the Giandomenico Pisapia Criminal Lawyers’ Association, where he coordinated training initiatives. He currently lectures on the techniques and ethics of criminal defence law as part of its two-year programme.
Mr. Baccaredda Boy is the author of numerous publications. He began his academic collaboration with Pietro Nuvolone, Professor of Criminal Law at the University of Milan, and subsequently worked with Professor Giorgio Marinucci and Professor Emilio Dolcini, contributing to the drafting and periodic updating of the Annotated Criminal Code published by IPSOA.
