Maddalena Padovan, Attorney-at-law

Maddalena Padovan, a member of the Supreme Court Bar admitted before the Italian Court of Cassation, graduated with top honours from the University of Milan. She has been with Baccaredda Boy Law Firm for over thirty years, following earlier collaborations with other firms, and has devoted her entire career to criminal law.

Her practice focuses on:

• Tax, corporate, and labour criminal law
• IT criminal law and intellectual property
• Medical criminal liability

She was involved in the trial concerning the Linate airport disaster and, on behalf of Baccaredda Boy Law Firm, recently handled the case relating to the fire at the tower building in via Antonini in Milan.

A member of the Digital Forensics Alumni (DFA) Association, she also conducts research on the application of artificial intelligence in criminal law.

She has served on the Management Committee of the Justice and Protection Fund for Childhood and Adolescence (now GiTIA, established within Fondazione di Comunità Milano Città), supporting projects involving minors engaged in judicial proceedings.

Together with colleagues, magistrates, and academics, she helped establish the Milanese section of LA.P.E.C.

Throughout her career, she has been committed to providing criminal law assistance to vulnerable groups.
